A/V and Graphic Art Classroom
Welcome to the A/V and Graphic Art Classroom, a dynamic space where BVP meets to collaborate on scripts and brainstorm new media projects. Here, students work on MacBooks, combining technology with creativity to produce compelling content. Under the guidance of the instructor, students engage in discussions to fine-tune their scripts and plan media production, while also having the flexibility to work on individual projects. Personalized tutorials ensure that each student’s questions and goals are met, fostering growth in both digital media and visual expression. This classroom is where ideas come to life, preparing students for the evolving world of media.
Green Screen Studio
Welcome to the Green Screen Room, where our students film the BVP Newscast. This space is designed for creative media production, with three walls painted to provide an expansive green screen area, allowing us to work with larger groups without compromising the effect. The BVP Newscast is a student-run program that delivers school news, events, and interviews, offering hands-on experience in video production and broadcasting. This room enables our students to bring their ideas to life, whether they are reporting on current events or creating imaginative segments, all while honing skills essential in today’s digital media landscape.
The Control Room
The control room is the heart of our BVP Newscast production. Here, students manage the vMix system for video production, control audio through an XLR setup, and currently use the HDMI standard for video—though we are exploring a transition to NDI for more streamlined connectivity. This space also houses multiple Macs, where students work on graphics, scripts, and other real-time adjustments, ensuring a smooth, dynamic workflow. The control room allows our team to coordinate and execute high-quality broadcasts, fostering collaboration and technical proficiency in a professional-grade environment.

I am the owner and operator of Austin County News Online, Inc., a digital media company that serves the Austin County, Texas area. The company comprises two primary divisions: Austin County News Online and Austin County Media. We also have our other business under our umbrella: Austin County VR.

Austin County Media is the digital media division of Austin County News Online. We offer a wide range of high-quality digital services to our community that are tailored to our clients’ needs, delivered with a personal touch, and unrivaled customer care.
Austin County VR
Austin County VR represents the exciting facet of our business. Customers can lease our studio by the hour and enjoy playing any of our VR games from our extensive library. We also gladly invite guests to witness the action on our impressive 55″ big screen, ensuring that what players experience can be shared and enjoyed by spectators as well.
